1 and 2 - Education and 3 - Death Penalty
1 - Do you believe that children in property-poor communities are receiving equal educational opportunities and, if not, what proposals do you have to grant the relief these children need that the Supreme Judicial Court refused to give in Hancock v. Driscoll in 2005?
2 - Given the fact that children of limited English proficiency have the highest drop out rate and perform the worst on standardized tests, do you believe that it is time to repeal the referendum passed by the voters in 2002 (known as Question 2), which replaced transitional bilingual education with structured English Immersion? If so, what proposals would you file and support in the Legislature?
3 - Do you support or oppose the death penalty? If you are opposed to it, are there any circumstances that would prompt you to support the death penalty? If so, what are they and why?
