Another PDM Pick: Suzanne Bump for Auditor
Progressive Democrats of Massachusetts is proud to announce its endorsement of Suzanne Bump for Auditor. We urge all of our members and supporters to vote for Suzanne on Sept. 14 and to find some time to help out her campaign in the next few days.
PDM urges all of its members and friends to join us in supporting Suzanne Bump for Auditor in next week's primary election. Suzanne has the values and the experience to make her the clear choice for this important position.
Suzanne is the third candidate to be selected for our support through PDM's new, bottom-up endorsement process, and the first candidate for statewide office. The endorsement of Suzanne Bump was initiated by the efforts of PDM members in Swampscott and neighboring communities. The two previous Picks are Ron Patenaude for State Senate in the Springfield area and Margot Barnet for State Representative in Worcester. We expect to be announcing additional Picks in the coming weeks; if you are interested in proposing a candidate for endorsement, please contact us at pdm-info@progressivedemsofmass.org.
The hotly contested primary in the Auditor's race is only a week away. Please do whatever you can to help ensure a victory for Suzanne Bump. Here are several key things you can do:
1. Send her campaign a contribution, through the link on her website.
2. Talk to (or email) all of your friends and encourage them to join us in supporting Suzanne. If you want some talking points, see her website, or the Globe editorial endorsing her.
3. Volunteer to help out with field efforts in the closing days of the campaign, through the link on the website.
4. Don't forget to vote on Tuesday, Sept. 14. And remind other supporters of Suzanne to vote as well. This is likely to be a low turn-out election in many places, so every vote is especially important.
