We're concerned citizens organized to promote social justice, political reform, and progressive values throughout the Commonwealth. We focus on local and state-level issues.

Practicing political action is integral to what it means to be citizens in a constitutional democracy. Progressive Democrats of Massachusetts (PDM) is committed to creating and training a network of progressive activists who support one another as well as progressive causes and candidates across the Commonwealth.

PDM has 7 chapters. Join us in building progressive power.

In 2005, PDM was one of the first statewide organizations to endorse Deval Patrick for Governor. Our members were campaign leaders across the Commonwealth, and PDM provided workshops for campaign workers across Massachusetts.

Every year, we endorse progressive candidates and host organizing and issue training for activists. Every odd-numbered year (non-election years), we host a reception at the Democratic State Convention.
